Kyunas

A Tech company exploring the question - what comes next after the smart phone?

The Challenge

Create a visual identity that takes cues from its namesake - Ciúnas - the phonetic spelling of the Irish word meaning quiet or serenity; whilst maintaining a modern audio tech feeling. And,

Develop novel ways to interact with everyday technology without relying on screens to do so.

The Outcome

A punchy logo that stand out from the crowd of other tech startups; hiding audio cues in the letter K at the beginning of the logo. A serene secondary gradient colour pallet tempers the bespoke lettering of the brand logo. And,

Ongoing development has resulted in Forrest joining Kyunas as a Co-Founder in order to continue deep tech research and development into exciting new user experiences for our everyday technology.

“Forrest is an exceptionally talented, hardworking and ambitious person who thrives in new and different environments.

He consistently demonstrates exceptional skills in his creative work, strategic work, client facing inputs and the co-management of our international team. I am often in awe at the depth and range of skills he possesses. For instance, since bringing him into Kyunas, he has been a strong pillar in maintaining creative and strategic direction on both internal and client work whilst bringing in an energy that unifies us in a shared goal.

Forrest's work ethic is very simply put, entrepreneurial. His spirit thrives in the hostile environment of a start-up, making the most of limited resources while keeping things light and fun. He is an invaluable team member, adept in both leadership and collaboration; whilst his communication skills have been pivotal in client work.”
